The play couch is bringing a new lease of life to my boys’ (4 and 7yo) play. It has been a den, house, tents, platforms, mountains, slide, campervan, dinosaur worlds, you name it! Well worth the investment 🙌
We and our 11 month old daughter are already really enjoying the play couch. She’s always been a bit of a cautious baby and this is definitely helping her move more! I feel it’ll have real longevity too. We were really impressed with the service too, Royal Mail failed to deliver the play couch and we were reached out to by possum play before we could even let them know! Impressive how they fit a whole couch in a smallish box too!
We love this product. Came 24 hours after I ordered it in vacuumed pack box - it was fun seeing it unwrinkle. It’s well made, a perfect colour and great quality . We have made great den’s and its saving my furniture - fab!!!
Our 5 and 6 year old grandsons spend hours with their play couch. The tunnels and shields (in a different colour) give them even more possibilities.
Great quality, our toddler loved it immediately and it fits in so well with our own couch it folds away to add seats to that too. Very happy! 😊

My kids play with the couch every day. It has been used as everything but a place to lounge : ) I added the shields and tunnels to the pile and they are a great addition. So easy to stack at the end of play. I’ll also note the corduroy cover is quite an upgrade, looks and feels great. I appreciate how easy all their fabrics are to clean
I didn’t know we needed this until we got it and it’s been my daughter’s newest obsession. I love that it gives her so many new options and worlds to create with her Play Couch (which we already love!). Highly recommend 🩷🩷

As a play therapist (child psychotherapy), this play couch has become an important part of my therapeutic toolkit, so I wanted to invest in something that would stand up to daily professional use. I spent a long time researching different play couches, reading reviews and comparing brands before deciding on the Possums Play Couch. I can honestly say it has exceeded my expectations.
The quality is outstanding. One concern I’d seen in reviews of foam play couches in general was that they can take a while to regain their shape after being vacuum-packed. However, this wasn’t my experience at all. In fact, I left mine boxed for a few days after delivery while I moved into my new therapy premises, and when I finally unpacked it, every piece expanded beautifully and very quickly. The foam is incredibly supportive and feels like excellent quality.
The fabric is also lovely and feels durable enough for everyday use. I chose the dark green colour because it’s practical for a busy therapy room and less likely to show marks, but it’s also a beautiful, rich shade.
Within the very first week, every single child I worked with took an interest in it and used it in some way. Some children have used it creatively to build and problem-solve, others have turned it into a cosy, safe space for comfort and regulation, and others simply enjoy exploring the different ways it can be used. It’s incredibly versatile and has already become one of the most popular resources in my therapy room.
I also really like that you can buy additional accessories, including waterproof covers, to make it even more practical. I’ll definitely be purchasing some of the extras.
Overall, I’m absolutely delighted with this purchase. It’s exceptionally well made, versatile and has already proved its value in a professional setting. In my opinion, it’s worth every penny, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to families, schools, nurseries or other therapists looking for a high-quality play couch.
I knew the kids would absolutely love their possum play couch, but I didn't anticipate just how much. We play with it every day, especially when I'm tired and want them to do independent play. It's sturdy enough that my 4 year old can sit at the peak of a teepee without it collapsing, but also light enough that she can assemble it herself. My one year old has had noticeable leaps in his coordination, because he's constantly climbing all over it,. especially the obstacle courses they create. The quality really exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend spending a little more and buying the thicker cushions for the base couch. I've recommended this play couch to anyone who would listen. I'm obsessed.
My grandson loves this. He’s had so much fun with it.
We needed something for our grandchildren for sleep overs and fell across the possum play couch, this fits into our small 3rd bedroom really well, it creates 2 single sleeping areas or 1 larger area OR it’s a den, a castle, a train, a boat and ice cream shop!! Or even more. I was really pleased with the quality and ease of cleaning. Also it’s mesmerising watching the cushions expand once unpacked into substantial shapes and sizes. I may even add to the collection!
I find when not in use that stacking into a tall pile works really well.

I purchased the equal base and am pleased I did so as my two big kids use it as chairs (no fighting phew) and also because it’s in our sitting room so is high enough to fit in with the rest of our furniture. I bought this mainly for my 6 year old son, knowing my 8 month old bubba will love it when she’s a toddler, but it has been such a hit that she’s crawling through makeshift tunnels and into cubbies and loving it already, as too is my ten year old daughter. Honestly it has been played with for hours everyday, used as couches, armchairs, castles, tents, stages for rock concerts and circus acts and so much more. It’s the best investment I’ve made for the kids to happily reduce their screen time during these winter months when outside play is limited. No regrets. We looooove the possum play couch.
We’ve loved adding the tunnel and shields to our existing play couch set. We’ve been using the thin layer in the kids bedroom so our main play couch has been sitting thin. The tunnels add-on has brought the play couch back to a good height and we loved creating cubby houses with doors, cinema seats and getting energy out bashing the shields together.
The possum is fabulous! We use it as play couch during the day and as couch during the evening. I would have appreciated the possibility to buy more layer of the base with the purchase of the sofa.
